Part 2: Top Breweries By State And Their Best Brews

There are more and more breweries popping up everyday.  In fact, there are more than six thousand as of 2018.  Below is a list of the top some of the top breweries by state and their tastiest brews.

Since 2007, Tallgrass Brewing Co. has been brewing beers in Manhattan, Kansas.  Buffalo Sweat, Raspberry Jam and Blueberry Jam are just a couple of tasty brews that they put out.

West Sixth Brewing was founded in 2012 in Lexington, Kentucky.  West Sixth IPA and Pay It Forward Cocoa Porter are just a couple of their delicious brews.

Down in the bayou of Louisiana sits Bayou Teche Brewing.  Founded in Arnaudville in 2009, their brews are best paired with Cajun and Creole.  Popular beers include Miel Savage and Swamp Thing.

Main Beer Company opened in Freeport, Maine in 2013.  They are known for brews such as Dinner, Woods & Waters and Peeper.

Flying Dog Brewery has a state of the art facility located in Frederick, Maryland.  They are known for brews like Gonzo, The Truth and Raging Bitch.

In Charlton, Massachusetts, Treehouse Brewing Co. has been around since 2011.  Some of their popular brews are Julius, Haze and That’s What She Said.

For decades Bell’s Brewery has been a staple in Comstock, Michigan.  Their known for tasty brews such as Two Headed Ale, Oatsmobile Ale and Kalamazoo Stout.

In Minneapolis, Minnesota, Surly Brewing Co. puts out brews like Bender, Cynic and Overrated.  They’ve been around over 10 years and are a staple in the community.

Mississippi’s oldest brewery, Lazy Magnolia Brewing Co. has been located in Kiln since 2003.  Southern Hops’pitality, Southern Pecan Nut Brown Ale and Sweet Potato Stout are just a few of the brews that make them popular.

Since 1989 Boulevard Brewing Co. in Kansas City, Missouri has been producing quality brews.  Heavy Lifting, Tropical and 80-Acre are just some of the brews that keep them busy.

Hamilton, Montana is home to Bitter Root Brewing Co.  Single Hop Pale Ale and Bitter Root IPA are just a couple of brews that keep people coming back for more.

Nebraska Brewing Co. was formed in Papillion in 2007.  One of the busiest breweries in Nebraska, they’re known for Brunette Nut Brown and their Nebraska Pils.

The Brewer’s Cabinet in Reno, Nevada is known for brews like Dirty Wookie, Dragon Punch and Tahoe Blonde.

Moonlight Meadery, based in Londonderry was rated the top brewery in New Hampshire by Zymurgy magazine in 2017.  Utopian #9, Kurt’s Apple Pie and and Wild are just a few of their popular brews.

Since 2011, Kane Brewing Co. has been a staple of the Jersey Shore.  Located in Ocean, they produce brews such as Head High, Overhead and Single Fin.

In the heart of Albuquerque lies La Cumbre Brewing Co.  They create brews like Elevated, A Slice Of Hefen and Project Dank.

Southern Tier Brewing Co. started brewing in West New York in 2002.  Since, they have created such brews as Choklat Oranj Stout, Imperial Cherry Gose and Nu Skool IPA.

In Asheville, North Carolina, Wicked Weed Brewing Co. is responsible for brews like Milk & Cookies, Serenity and Pernicious.

One of the busiest breweries in Ohio is Fat Head’s Brewery.  Located in Middleburg Heights, they are known for awarding winning brews like Hop JuJu, Head Hunter and Bone Head.

In Krebs, Oklahoma, Prairie Artisan Ales have created Bomb!, Standard and Prairie Vous Francais which keep people coming back for more.

Troegs Independent Brewing, located in Hershey, Pennsylvania have been creating brews since 1997.  Perpetual, Sunshine Pils and DreamWeaver Wheat are only a couple of their popular, year round brews.
